Creaform (Levis, Quebec) expanded its product lineup with PRELUDE V5 Inspect software by MDTVISION (Les Ulis Cedex, France; http://www.mdtvision.com/en/index.php) to complement its 3D metrology offerings for its clients.

This new software has a person-machine interface identical to that of CATIA V5 and is integrated as a new CATIA workbench, thus totally eliminating data transfer issues. It uses directly CATIA V5 native models on which are prepared the control ranges through CATIA V5' PPR tree. The functional spectrum of this new product is very wide, since it is almost at the same level than Prelude INSPECTION version 7.

PRELUDE V5 Inspect is the result of MDTVISION's know-how and expertise in the measuring and control fields. It ensures digital data consistency throughout the CAD chain : design, production and quality control. It belongs to the highly select club of metrology solutions integrated into CATIA V5, and its very reasonable price should position PRELUDE V5 Inspect as a very competitive solution in the SME/SMI market.

Creaform is both a member of Dassault Systemes' Value Added Resellers (VAR) group and a distributor of PRELUDE. For further details, go to Creaform.
