Measurement, Inspection for Rhino, 2 in a Series

HighRES, Inc. (La Jolla, CA; reverse-it.com) has released version 4.0 of its HighRES for Rhino integrated reverse engineering and inspection software plug-in, which eliminates the need to move outside of Rhino to perform go/no go integrated inspection and measurement tasks. With HighRES for Rhino 4.0 you can digitize or inspect data directly in Rhino from Robert McNeel & Associates as you use your FARO, ROMER, Microscribe or 3D Creator portable CMM.

Enhancements to the HighRES plug-in include the ability to inspect and measure point deviation back to your original CAD drawing as well as the ability to analyze and review the distance between selected points and a surface. Additionally, its HighRES Hold Cutplane capability enables you capture profile sections for inspection purposes quickly.
