Metris has released CMM-Manager 2.3 measurement software, designed for users of articulated arms and K-Series Optical CMM systems. The software,  aimed at CNC and manual CMMs, is said to be highly intuitive and task-oriented tactile measurement software.

Productivity enhancements range from improved user guidance to automatic probe recognition. A single inspection program suitable for manual and automatic CMMs reduces overall programming effort, increases productivity,  and makes analysis and reporting consistent.
