Digipede ships new grid software for Windows.

Digipede Technologies (Oakland, CA) has a new tool that promises to exploit all your back end hardware,  secure uptime through failover, and allow single-threaded apps to exploit multicore and multiprocessing back ends.

Digipede Network 2.1, announced in late February, uses network load balancing to provide failover. It also has a new reporting module to show how the grid is operating and what resources are being stressed. It also has a richer API, and the ability for departments to give up resources when loads are low, and take them back when processing picks up.

Digipede,  run by economist John T. Powers, offers free licenses to Microsoft MVPs. Get your freebies here.
