Ergotron, Inc. (St. Paul, MN), a maker of ergonomic devices for peoplewho use electronic equipment, will soon introduce three new mountingsolutions for laptop computers and display monitors. Each new productincorporates Ergotron’s Constant Force (CF) lift-and-pivot motiontechnology. CF converts a conventional spring’s linear force curve intoa constant flat force through the entire range of lifting or pivotingmotion. As a result, users exert much less effort to noiselessly adjusttheir display, according to the company.

The Ergotron LX Notebook Arm is designed to ensure full use of yournotebook’s display when docked into a desktop environment. The LXNotebook Arm, said to be well-suited for high intensity workapplications where multiple kinds of information need to be viewed,enables you to lift your notebook off your desk to place side-by-sidewith your LCD monitor easily. The Ergotron LX Notebook Arm iscompatible with any notebook and docking station weighing up to 17.5lbs.

The Ergotron HD Wall Mount Pivot offers a comfortable alternative torigid wall mounts for most flat-panel displays weighing up to 50 lbs.It the displays to be tilted -5/+15˚ as well as pan side-to-side. TheErgotron HD Wall Mount Swing Arm’s extender provides 13 inches offorward/back adjustability of displays weighing up to 50lbs, with a panof 180˚ side-to-side. It offers cable management facilities under theextender, and it also tilts -5/+15˚.

Additionally, Ergotron is now shipping its Neo-Flex Wall Mount, whichprovides 5 inches of height adjustability, side-to-side rotation,forward/back movement, and portrait/landscape viewing.
