MSC.Software Corp. (Santa Ana, CA; mscsoftware.com) has released MD Adams, the newest member of the company’s MD (multidiscipline) Solutions suite of integrated multidisciplinary simulation solutions for enterprise-wide deployment. MD Adams extends the suite’s system simulation capabilities by enabling you to build and test virtual prototypes that visually and mathematically simulate the full-motion behavior of complex mechanical system designs. Additionally, the new MD Adams/Car Mechatronics module is a tailored group of mechatronic subsystem simulation solutions of interest to automotive OEMs and suppliers.

MD Adams offers the MD Solutions suite with such tools as component flexibility, active control systems, and frequency response prediction. Of note is its bidirectional integration with MD Nastran, which enables you to obtain detailed MD Nastran NVH analyses from validated MD Adams vehicle models. MSC says that MD Adams/Car Mechatronics’s new control system components and signal manager make it easy to incorporate and manage active control systems in complex mechanical systems.

MD Adams is available now. For complete information, visit msc.software.
