The National Engineers Week Foundation coalition celebrated the 60th anniversary of National Engineers Week. The foundation focuses on educating America's young people" from kindergarten through college" about the importance of engineering.

The coalition supports volunteers by providing resources to help promote National Engineers Week, including a tip sheet, poster and graphics for websites.

5 tipsEngineering companies are also encouraged to create their own promotions. Knovel has done just that. Its "Five Reasons to Become an Engineer" infographic provides information on engineer's impact on the world, skills, pay rates and more.

Other great engineering industry educational information came from the National Society of Professional Engineers' Sightseer's Guide to Engineering and video shout ots from NASA and the New Faces of Engineering program.
