Testing and engineering services provider National Technical Systems announced expanded capabilities at its Plano, TX facility.

According to a company press release, these new services include wireless and product safety testing services and international product approvals. This will allow NTS Plano to complete future customers' needs in regards to licensed and unlicensed radio testing, low power devices that fall under FCC, Industry Canada and R&TTE EU regulations. Product safety testing and evaluations services will be centered around information technology equipment, medical devices and other commercial and consumer products.

"Our goal is to be our customers' natural first choice for testing in the South Central United States, serving all their needs for comprehensive testing and engineering," said John Ngo, general manager of the Plano facility. "We have added staff, equipment and expertise as part of our commitment to expanding our wireless, product safety and international approval to offer our regional customers a true 'one-stop shop' for their needs."
