New LMS Test.Lab OPAX Transfer Path Analysis Cuts Testing Times

LMS Test.Lab Rev 9 helps customers solve testing issues. Focusing on ease-of-use and productivity, standard features include a workflow-oriented graphical user interface, active displays, and data management with continuous data checks to minimize translation glitches and operator errors.

To solve transfer path analysis (TPA) issues in a scalable manner, LMS Test.Lab Rev 9 also features a range of TPA techniques, such as LMS Test.Lab Single Reference Transfer Path Analysis, LMS Test.Lab Multi-reference Transfer Path Analysis, and the new LMS Test.Lab OPAX solution.

The new LMS Test.Lab OPAX solution combines the speed of response-only TPA with the accuracy found in conventional TPA. The LMS Test.Lab OPAX solution separates loads and transfer paths so that vibro-acoustic energy can easily be traced right from the source, through a set of known structure-borne and airborne pathways, directly to a given receiver location. This lets engineers accurately identify the root cause of the problem more quickly.
