Three new solutions deliver desktop performance and features for 3D professionals.

NVIDIA Corporation(Santa Clara, CA) has announced three new NVIDIA Quadro FX graphicssolutions. They include the NVIDIA Quadro FX 350M, a graphics carddesigned for thin and light mobile workstations; theNVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M, a high-performance, detailed image entry; andthe NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M, which has 512MB of graphics memory forhigh performance.

This new line of graphics solutions has been incorporated in the latestgeneration Dell Precision M90 and M65 mobile workstations, according to Dell and NVIDIA. These mobileworkstations deliver a broad range of performance and features designedfor on-the-go engineers, designers, and other professionals.

“The Dell Precision M65 and Dell Precision M90 offer the flexibility,performance, and reliability that is demanded by customers inindustries like computer-aided design and engineering, scientificresearch or digital content creation,” said Darrel Ward, director, DellPrecision Workstations in the press announcement and in a meeting with DE. “Together, these two new mobile workstationproducts offer a full range of solutions that will address the diverserequirements of mobile professionals.”

NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile solutions offer the same features found inNVIDIA solutions for desktop-based professional workstations, whichhave long been the choice of professional application users. Theseinclude features like 12-bit sub-pixel precision and full 32-bitfloating-point precision, as well as a host of capabilities that NVIDIAQuadro desktop-based users have become accustomed to.
