New Westinghouse LCD Monitors Range from 16 to 26 Inches

Westinghouse Digital Electronics (New York, NY) introduced a new monitor lineup that offers an expanded range of LCD screen sizes, including 16-in., 19-in., 22-in.,  and 26-in.

The new 26-inch L2610NW ($499) featuring an ultra high 1920 x 1200 resolution that displays beyond 1080p quality. With this high resolution, 36 percent more content is displayed than via a 1440 resolution monitor. The L2610NW monitor’s dynamic contrast is 3000:1. With a 2ms response time, this monitor’s 25.5-inch diagonal viewing area has a viewing angle of 170/160; components include HDMI, D-sub and audio in; adherence to ENERGY STAR and RoHS compliance standards; and compliance with Windows Vista Home Premium.

The rest of the line includes Westinghouse Digital’s 22-inch L2210NW ($299), which has a 1680 x 1050 resolution, dynamic contrast ratio of 3000:1,  and delivers a response times at 2ms (gray-to-gray) and a 170/160 viewing angle. Inputs include DVI, D-sub, and Audio-in and it is Windows Vista Home Premium compliant.

The 22-inch L2270NW ($349) is a virtual dock for notebook computers. It offers ENERGY STAR and RoHS compliance, as well as 1680 x 1050 resolution and the 1000:1 contrast ratio, plus 5ms response time; Windows Vista Home Basic compliance; DVI, D-sub, Audio-in inputs and a 170/160 viewing angle.

Westinghouse Digital’s L1916HW ($269) enhances its 19-inch monitor lineup with a high 1680 x 1050 resolution and a dynamic contrast ratio of 3000:1. It offers a 2ms (gtg) response time and a 170/160 viewing angle;  compliance to ENERGY STAR and RoHS standards; DVI, D-sub and Audio-in inputs;  and Windows Vista Home Premium compliance. The 19-inch L1975NW ($239) provides users with image quality with a 1440 x 900 resolution and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Features include a response time of 5ms (gtg) and a 170/160 viewing angle, ENERGY STAR and RoHS compliance; Windows Vista Home Premium compliance;  and dual PC inputs including VGA, DVI, D-sub and Audio-in inputs.

The 16-inch L1610NW ($169 MSRP) is for general computing applications, with a 15.6-inch diagonal viewing area, a 1366 x 768 resolution and contrast ratio of 500:1. The monitor also has Westinghouse Digital’s proprietary DayBright panel technology for daytime or nighttime viewing. Other features include 8ms response time; ENERGY STAR and RoHS adherence; and Windows Vista Home Basic compliance.
