NextComputing Introduces the NextServer Evo Rackmount Server

NextComputing brings its open-standards FleXtreme architecture that helped make the flextop popular to a new breed of rackmount computer, the NextServer Evo.

Current Evo models are available in two adaptable form factors: the NextDimension Evo packaged for commercial class high-end portable applications, and the Vigor Evo HD, ruggedized for deployed environments.

The NextServer Evo retains the features of the previous models in a compact, 3U chassis. This rackmount looks and performs like a server, but is also suited to high-performance applications in industries such as digital media, test and measurement, and within the government and military.

Users of the portable Evo models can enhance their system lineup with rackmount servers based on the same modular architecture for plug-and-play integration. All of the same components and software will work the same way as the portable version.
