NextComputing (Nashua, NH) recently announced that its NextDimensionmobile workstation has been certified for professional 3D developmentby Autodesk, NewTek, and Softimage. The particular platformcertifications are Autodesk 3ds Max 9, NewTek LightWave 3D v9 andSoftimage XSI 6.

The NextDimension is a multi-core, 64-bit AMD Opteron processor-basedportable workstation. Its PCI-Express ultra high-end graphicsacceleration comes in the form of NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 or ATI FireGLv7350 cards, depending upon configuration.
