NextEnergy Annonuces I-Corps Energy and Transportation Training Program

NextEnergy has announced a partnership with Michigan I-Corps, to conduct the I-Corps Energy and Transportation training program beginning May 20.

Innovation Corps (I-Corps) is a commercialization training program that allows researchers and engineers to bring ideas from lab to market. NextEnergy and the University of Michigan will bring together industry leaders, investors and start-up veterans to help research teams, a press release states.

The program will start on May 20, and runs through June 12. Applications for participation are due April 18, 2014. The program is comprised of workshops, market-specific trainings and mentorship with industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, government and economic development professionals. Program partners include: University of Michigan College of Engineering Center for Entrepreneurship, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Growth Capital Network, the National Science Foundation, Clean Energy Trust, and Huron River Ventures.
