According to a company press release, benchmark tests show dramatic performance increases and significant cost benefits of running Abaqus FEA on an Intel Cluster Ready Certified cluster with next-generation Intel Xeon processors.
Nor-Tech’s HPC clusters use Linux or Windows-based operating systems. Speed-up is realized on all FEA simulations, with the most impressive improvements on medium-to-large-sized projects, the company states.
“We are excited to embark on this collaboration with Intel and Dassault Systèmes. The fact that all three organizations have spent so much time configuring and perfecting the site and tool demonstrates how strongly we back the return of transitioning from a workstation to an HPC cluster for FEA simulation applications,” says David Bollig, Nor-Tech President and CEO.
