NOVA Corporation, an IT company owned by the Navajo Nation, has advanced its plan to open a data center in Albuquerque, NM.

NOVA Corporation has signed an agreement with Schott Solar to lease a location, a company press release states. The main 133,000 sq. ft. building will be divided between high-performance computing and data center space as well as a training center. The training space is planed for IT certification to employees and as a business incubation space.

“Our engineering team is performing its walk-through this week in preparation for the build-out. This is the fruition of a plan we’ve been working on for years, and a great moment for NOVA, because this building will allow us to further achieve our mission of providing excellence in IT services,” said John Snider, CEO of NOVA Corporation.
