Objet Demonstrates RP & 3D Printing System at SIGGRAPH

Eden260 uses ultra-thin layer photopolymer jetting.

Objet Geometries Ltd. (Billerica, MA)  demonstrated its Eden260 3D Printing System at SIGGRAPH 2007, showing users how the system quickly and easily turns any 3D file into high-quality, highly accurate 3D models of their designs.

The cost-effective, small-footprint Eden260 rapid prototyping (RP) and 3D printing system can compress your product design-to-manufacturing cycle.

With Objet’s patented Polyjet technology, a model can be printed in fine detail, down to 16 microns, enabling designers to create a model with accurate detail, thin walls, and a smooth finish.

Models produced on the Eden260 are durable, and have a surface finish. The build tray size is 10.2 in. x 10.2 in. x 7.9 in. and the resin material supported are FullCure720, VeroWhite, VeroBlack and VeroBlue along with the FullCure705 support material.

In addition to the Eden260 3D printer, Objet showed other models that have been created using the company’s FullCure family of photopolymer materials that enable Objet users to create accurate, detailed 3D models and parts (e.g., automotive, medical, electronics, and other consumer goods).
