OCEASOFT Launches LoRA-enabled Sensors

OCEASOFT, a provider of connected wireless sensors, has released a new line of LoRa-enabled sensor modules to measure temperature and humidity. The devices were created as part of the LoRa Alliance, a group that seeks to standardize long-range, low-power wireless networks.

The sensors can cover temperature ranges from -200 to +200°C and have features for increased precision and ease of use, the company states.

“The emergence of new long-range, low-power wireless networks will enable customers to deploy our connected smart sensors faster and more easily. After associating our efforts with the SigFox network, OCEASOFT, is also developing a line of sensors based on LoRa technology. SigFox and LoRa are in fact quite complementary to each other, and we are pleased to be able to offer both in order to meet our customers’ differing demands,” says Laurent Rousseau, CEO of OCEASOFT.
