The OM-CP-TCTEMP2000, Omega Engineering, Inc.’s (Stamford, CT) new thermocouple (TC) temperature data logger, has a large, backlit LCD display. The battery-powered (optional AC adapter for long-term use) data logger has an internal temperature sensor and one external input for thermocouple types J, K, T,E, R, S, B, and N. This wall-mountable, real-time operated device has a large memory capacity and its non-volatile memory will retain recorded data, even if AC and battery power are lost. It offers a front keypad with lock feature, high-speed downloading, programmable start/stop time, and user-selectable measurement units. NIST traceable calibration is available for users needing to meet regulatory requirements. Price starts at $499.
