ZWCAD Design announced that OpenDCL 7.0, a free open source dialog box framework for LISP programmers, is available for ZWCAD+ 2014.

OpenDCL is an interactive tool specially designed for LISP programmers who prefer a convenient replacement for the DCL dialogs. Its UI elements include a rich set of controls and forms offering an event-driven programming model.

"We are delighted to have OpenDCL successfully ported to ZWCAD+," said David Li, manager of ZWCAD+ overseas product department. "We have seen a growing numbers of LISP programmers and developers using OpenDCL to create and edit their dialog boxes, and in the meanwhile the newly integrated OpenDCL has greatly strengthened ZWCAD+'s competitiveness in application development, an important step forward for the LISP community."

"I'm very pleased with how easy it was to port our OpenDCL code to load and run inside ZWCAD+ 2014," said Owen Wengerd, lead developer of the OpenDCL Project. "The ZWCAD+ team has been extremely responsive and quickly addressed any issues encountered along the way."
