Ophir-Spiricon  (Logan, UT), supplier of precision laser measurement equipment, announced the II-VI-CO2-58 Industrial Laser Beam Analyzer, a laser beam profiling system that enables the quantitative measurement and viewing of high power CO2 beams.

The system diagnoses faults quickly, and corrects issues related to beam stability,  alignment, tuning, and optimization. It can handle large beams at high powers in real time, up to 48 images/sec.

The II-VI-CO2-58 Industrial Laser Beam Analyzer is portable and can be used to spot check performance on a variety of laser-based machines — in one or more facilities, or in the field. The system’s 58mm clear aperture enables the user to measure large laser beams. The ability to handle up to 10kW of power makes it suitable for high power CO2 lasers.

The II-VI-CO2-58 Industrial Laser Beam Analyzer is designed to work with the industry’s leading beam profiling camera, Ophir’s PyrocamT III, a solid state camera based on a rugged, stable, and precise IR detector array. It delivers a 1000:1 linear dynamic range for high accuracy profiling.

The II-VI-CO2-58 Beam Analyzer camera connects to a PC through a FireWire interface for advanced analysis capabilities.

Both horizontal and vertical entry options are available. Prices start at $30,000 plus the Pyrocam. OEM pricing is available on request.
