October 27, 2015

Oracle has launched the Oracle Data Visualization Cloud Service, bringing the company's analytics to the cloud for accessible, visual data. This solution, according to the company, eliminates the complexity typically associate with blending and correlating data sets.

The service offers automatic data blending, letting users combine data from a variety of sources — such as Oracle and other SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) applications, on-premise systems, external sources and personal files.

“Adoption and usage patterns at our 400+ Business Intelligence Cloud Service customers confirm that fast, easy-to-use data visualization is critical to their businesses,” said Hari Sankar, group vice president, Business Analytics, Oracle. “Oracle Data Visualization Cloud Service makes data visualization 100 percent self-service, empowering business users to go from raw data to actionable business insights in just a few minutes. This new service delivers rich visual analysis, rapid discovery of insights and secure collaboration, enabling fact-based decisions at every level of the organization.”
