OSAT Company, which specializes in engineering analysis, testing and inspection techniques, is using Agilent Technologies' Electromagnetic Professional software, EMPro, and the Momentum 3-D planar electromagnetic simulator to design and simulate innovative new antennas and circuits.

EMPro is a 3-D modeling and simulation platform, and is used to create 3D models and analyze the electrical performance of packages, connectors, antennas and other RF components. Momentum is a 3D planar EM simulator used for passive circuit modeling and analysis. Accurate EM simulation enables designers to improve the performance of their designs, while increasing confidence that the manufactured product will meet specifications.

Designing cutting-edge circuits and antennas requires access to the industrys most advanced modeling and simulation tools, said Alexandre Vouzellaud, chief operating officer at OSAT. The speed, performance and flexible features of Agilents EMPro and Momentum software are providing our R&D department with the functionality we need to maintain a leading edge in the highly competitive wireless, microwave and millimeter-wave markets in which we compete.
