Palmer Wahl Instrumentation Group has announced its new line of RTD and thermocouple sensor assemblies. The assemblies are available in a variety of configurations to meet different application requirements.

A variety of sensor heads in aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, polypropylene, and explosion-proof models are available. Customers can choose thermocouple elements when operating at higher temperatures, or when fast response is needed. Grounded or ungrounded elements in types J, K, or T, as well as thin film or wire wound type RTDs in Class A or Class B are available. Two, three, and four wire RTD models are also available.   Custom built probes can be provided upon request.

The company is also introducing its redesigned thermowell catalog to complement this new product line.   Thermowells are used for protection of instruments, and to enable the ease of inserting and removing instruments with reduced downtime.
