PlassoTech Inc.’s (Los Angeles, CA) update to its 3G.DesignSimulation/Optimization Suite  2007 includes a new 64-bit version of 3G.author for large simulations, and offers the ability to import CFD results for Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) simulation.

The update includes a new buckling analysis module and supports both thermal stress in large deformation analysis and parametric body forces; it provides native connectivity to OneSpace CAD system, and support for frequency dependent damping, micrometer unit option, more customization functionality for web-report generation. It offers additional GUI and postprocessing enhancements.

3G.author2007 offers two separate versions for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems, both available for download. The 64-bit version of 3G.author2007 enables users to take advantage of extended memory address of the Windows 64-bit operating system; this is ideal for simulation of large assemblies as well as very complex parts with large mesh sizes.

3G.author2007 in a 32-bit version  uses the same node-locked installation instructions as the 64-bit version.
