The new PDXpert PLM software from Active Sensing, Inc. (ASI; Castle Rock, CO) has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of growing companies.

PDXpert PLM offers basic PLM capabilities like document and part definition, bill of materials (BOM) management, electronic file library (vault), and change forms with approval workflow, as well as advanced features like free-form text searches, category-based item numbering, drag-and-drop construction of parts and bills of material, undo/redo editing, and user-defined custom properties.

ASI has modified the evaluation, purchase, and support functions to target a small company's acquisition needs. Their website offers free, fully-functional evaluation software via download; technical installation and configuration documentation; no-haggle pricing; and perpetual- and subscription-based licensing alternatives.

A single-user PDXpert PLM system can be installed for $999. A subscription license starts at $25 per month.  More information is available at buyplm.com.
