New release supports ATI 3D digitizers.

InnovMetric Software (Quebec City, Canada) and Automated Precision (Rockville, MD) announced a new plug-in to operate API’s Tracker3 line of 3D digitizers with the PolyWorks 3D metrology software suite. PolyWorks V10.0.9 is now available to users with a valid support/maintenance contract from InnovMetric’s online Technical Support Zone.

The plug-in supports the API IntelliScan portable laser scanner.

New PolyWorks plug-in provides real-time access to API scanner data.
The new PolyWorks plug-in also supports API’s Intelliscan, a hand-held laser scanner for noncontact digitization of large objects. It also works with the Intelliprobe, a portable hard probe for the measurement of hidden geometry and complex shapes.

With the plug-in, API users can perform point cloud and probe-based data acquisition and data analysis directly from the software interface to view live results and instant feedback on the quality of the part being measured.
