An additional security feature is the USB port dongle, without which the MicroLab and DatPass software packages will not operate.

It is compatible with Windows 98/2000/ME/XP/NT 4.0 or higher and Vista, and is available with OM-MICROLAB 21 CFR Part 11 Standards Compliance Software.
