To demonstrate the capabilities of its wide-format inkjet printers, such as this SOLJET Pro III XJ-640, Roland invites prospective customers to drop by with a test drawing.

Through the end of the year, Roland (Irvine, CA) will conduct the Pure Print Performance Challenge, in which those interested in purchasing a wide-format inkjet printer can test the capabilities of Roland’s line, including the AdvancedJET, Hi-Fi JET Pro II, Hi-Fi Express, SOLJET and VersaCAMM printers and printer/cutters.

To participate, professionals can bring a JPEG, TIFF or Illustrator file, at a maximum print size of 30” x 48”, to any Roland authorized reseller location throughout North and South America (except Brazil). Visit the Roland site for full details on the challenge and file preparation guidelines.
“We are confident that customers will see the unmatched print performance that has made Roland inkjets the world’s best-selling line of wide-format durable graphics printers,” said Rick Scrimger, vice president and general manager for Roland’s Color Products Division. “We also understand that for most shops, the printer is just the beginning. At Roland, we are committed to providing complete solutions—everything needed to get great results from the very first print through years of reliable service.”

To meet the needs of a diverse customer base, the Roland line includes eco-solvent, solvent, aqueous and sublimation printers and printer/cutters with models ranging from 30” to 104” in width. All Roland products are backed by a two-year warranty on parts and labor.
