QuadriSpace Corporation (Allen, TX), a provider of 3D publishing software, has recently upgraded its product line to support SolidWorks 2007 and improve 3D PDF publishing.

The latest update to QuadriSpace products lets users author and publish complete 3D PDF documents with smaller file sizes than previously available. The latest version creates 3D PDF documents that are typically 3% to 10% the size of original 3D CAD files. Additional file-size reduction of 50% to 70% can be obtained using QuadriSpace's polygon reduction tools. Overall, this can result in a 3D PDF document that boasts a file size less than 1% the size of the original CAD file.

In addition, the latest update includes support for SolidWorks 2007 and improves the performance of imported SketchUp files.
