Rapidform’s 2011 User Training Conference is designed to help attendees learn how to use 3D scanning to make their businesses more successful. Rapidform Success brings together 3D scanning users to learn, collaborate, and connect.

Classes are divided by skill level with Rapidform, with new user, intermediate and advanced tracks available.  Class topics for 2011 include:

  • Scan cleanup and optimization
  • Best practices for aligning and merging multiple scans
  • Creating solid models from 3D scans
  • Speciality sessions in how to get parametric models into SolidWorks, Pro/E Wildfire and Siemens NX
  • Autosurfacing best practices
  • How to use your 3D scanner with Rapidform
  • Hybrid modeling (surfaces + solids together)
  • Introduction to new features in the latest releases of XOR and XOV
  • GD&T inspection

Every class is limited to 15 or fewer trainees. Instructors are certified trainers.

After completing training at the Success Conference, attendees will receive a certificate showing their level of expertise with Rapidform software.

At the Scanner Showcase, attendees will be able to meet with 3D scanning vendors and see a variety of systems, from laser scanners to CT machines, that can be used to collect 3D data.
