Razorleaf Corp., a product lifecycle management (PLM) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) consulting and systems integrator, has formed a technology partnership with First Resonance, a provider of advanced manufacturing management software.
As a strategic partner with First Resonance, Razorleaf consultants will be certified on First Reconance ION Factory Operating System, which supports a flow of production data throughout factories producing hardware in industries such as spacecraft, nuclear reactors and robots. The AI-powered ION platform ensures regulatory adherence while safeguarding confidential information and intellectual property in the digital thread via advanced manufacturing processes.
The partnership combines Razorleaf’s ability to bridge PLM, enterprise resource planning (ERP) MES, and customer relationship management (CRM)—using its CLOVER integration software—with First Resonance’s solutions to meet government security requirements. First Resonance maintains SOC 2 certification and adheres to ITAR regulations.
“Together with First Resonance we are providing a more streamlined and seamless experience for their ION clients when connecting to downstream systems such as PLM, ERP, CRM’s, etc.," says Andrew Halley, Razorleaf senior director of Partnerships and Alliances. "Razorleaf is very aware of the many nuances of connecting such systems in a manufacturing enterprise. Our wide knowledge base provides clients with the same level of quality across integrations to systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, ARAS, Arena, SolidWorks, Dynamics, and many more.”
“Drawing on our experience in fast-paced, high-precision engineering environments like SpaceX, we built the ION platform to enable rapid engineering and manufacturing in today’s complex industries,” says Karan Talati, CEO at First Resonance. “Legacy MES tools fail to keep pace with the speed and complexity manufacturers face today. ION brings scheduling, execution, and intelligence into a single, dynamic platform built to empower the builders of tomorrow’s products. By integrating Razorleaf’s CLOVER software, we can extend that capability to deliver even greater interoperability and value to our customers.”
“We’re seeing great synergy between our two organizations from both a product standpoint and, more importantly, a client-satisfaction standpoint,” says Razorleaf CEO Eric Doubell. “We find it very rewarding to work with partners like First Resonance who share our drive to continuously improve software integration for manufacturing, and who see the long-term value of facilitating growth between our services and our customers’ visions.”
