Razorleaf expands its presence in Europe with the opening of a second business unit in the United Kingdom. The new team will be dedicated to the sales and service of iBase-t’s Solumina platform, which simplifies how complex products are built and maintained for discrete manufacturers in regulated industries, the companies report.

Operating under Razorleaf in the UK, this business unit expands the company’s product lifecycle management focus to include a comprehensive sales and service organization that supports manufacturing execution systems (MES) across Europe.

Evan Sloss, Razorleaf operations director for MES in Europe, has joined Razorleaf UK to build a team focused on the European complex discrete market for MES software and services. iBase-t’s Solumina manufacturing operations platform is an integrated suite of MES, supplier quality management, and maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions with embedded enterprise quality management.

“Europe has traditionally been several years behind the United States in terms of digital maturity,” says Sloss. “Manufacturers who have complex, heavy discrete processes need to innovate to reduce their time-to-market and cost of production. Solutions like Solumina are well suited to support such companies, helping them transform their operations to meet digital transformation goals.”

“Our relationship with Razorleaf started in the USA in 2022 and has been very positive,” says Daniel Flick, vice president, Global Partner Ecosystems. “The opening of this new UK business unit dedicated to our Solumina platform further deepens this. We hold a strong belief that partnerships are key to help us grow and scale across the globe. Razorleaf has proven itself to be an organization that can help us align the right resources for success.”

“Expanding our relationship with iBase-t is a natural evolution for our organization,” says Eric Doubell, CEO of Razorleaf. “We are already seeing higher demand for MES solutions across our complex discrete manufacturers in regulated industries in the US. We are glad to have Evan Sloss take the lead and help European manufacturers adapt and innovate their manufacturing operations with technologies like Solumina, which improves efficiencies in MES, quality and MRO.”
