ROMER "Infinite Rotation" Patent Reaffirmed by USPTO

September 6, 2007 --  ROMER Inc. (North Kingstown, RI) has received notice from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) of its intent to issue a second re-examination certificate for ROMER's U.S. patent concerning the "infinite rotation" feature of its articulated measuring arms. A re-examination certificate confirms the claims of a patent; this notice is the second confirmation from the U.S. Patent office that all the '148 patent's claims are valid. ROMER Inc. is a Hexagon Metrology company that designs and manufactures portable coordinate measurement machines for industrial measurement applications in the automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing applications.
