Siblings Group Holdings Inc. will be acquiring AcceleratingED, LLC, a consulting firm with specialization in business development and scaling for educational services and educational technology providers. The company has also named AcceleratingED’s founder, Dave Saba, as president of Sibling.

According to the Siblings Group Holding, the transaction is not yet complete and subject to final documentation. It is to be completed by the end of the month.

Saba has run various operations in manufacturing, health care and education.

"This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to dramatically improve educational outcomes for students across the country by bringing together some of the best organizations in the education space," he said in a press release that accompanied the announcement.

As president, Saba will be directly responsible for the company’s growth strategy by increasing organic sales and strategic acquisitions, according to the press release. He will also assume a position on the Sibling board of directors.

Also joining the Sibling board of directors at January’s end is Frank Lightmas, founder of Newco4education.
