This month, SiemensPLM Software (Plano, TX) has just released the latest versions for four ofits D-Cubed component software products, which address needs in CAD, CAM, CAE and PLM applications.

Version38.0 — of 3D Dimensional Constraint Manager (3D DCM), Assembly EngineeringManager (AEM), Collision Detection Manager (CDM) and Hidden Line Manager (HLM) —is said to improve to improve function and performance.

The D-Cubedcomponents, which provide 3D part and assembly modeling, editing &interoperability, 2D/3D parametric sketching, motion simulation, collisiondetection, clearance measurement, and visualization, have applications inmechanical CAD, CAM, CAE, mold design, sheet metal, AEC, GIS, structural, plantand ship design, CMM, reverse engineering, and sales.

Specifically, the D-Cubed 3DDimensional Constraint Manager (3D DCM), version 38.0, positions parts inassemblies, simulates their kinematic motion, and parametrically controls theconfiguration of 3D sketches. Learn more about D-Cubed3D DCM version 38.0 here.

Second, theD-Cubed Collision Detection Manager (CDM), version 38.0 is a software componentthat accurately and rapidly detects collisions and computes clearances.

Previous releasesrange from CDM v37 to CDM v33. Learn more about D-CubedCDM version 38.0 here.

Third, theD-Cubed Assembly Engineering Manager (AEM), version 38.0 is a software componentthat provides a more realistic and productive assembly environment. Previous releases range from AEM v37 to AEM v34 & AEMv17. Learn more about D-CubedAEM, version 38.0 here.

And fourth, the D-Cubed Hidden Line Manager (HLM), version 38.0, is a software componentthat accurately and rapidly computes hidden line views. Previous Releases rangefrom HLM v37 to HLM v33. Learn more about D-CubedHLM version 38.0 here.
