SimForm, a cloud-based simulation software for mold design, now has expanded capabilities. Originally designed to accelerate the design of injection molds, SimForm now also supports the design of compression molds, broadening its utility to manufacturers and designers.
SimForm has been used in injection molding, offering users the ability to quickly and easily predict temperatures, optimize cooling channel placement, and improve the quality of molded parts. With the extension to compression molding, this new feature allows users to leverage the cloud-based platform to design tools for compression molding.
The compression molding tool design feature includes:
"We are thrilled to expand SimForm's capabilities to compression molding tool design," says Jacob Harris, vice president of Software Products at Maya HTT, the company behind SimForm. "This addition is a direct response to feedback from our users who have been asking for a comprehensive tool that can handle both injection and compression molding."
SimForm is a cloud-based, fast and affordable simulation software designed to accelerate the mold design process. Maya HTT, the developer behind SimForm, is a 40+ year industry leader in engineering software and services with expertise spanning physics simulation, CAD, CAM, AI, industrial IoT and plastic injection molding.
