At the NAFEMS World Congress 2025 event in Salzburg, Austria, this week, SimScale and Hexagon previewed the upcoming launch of a new integrated solution. Hexagon's Marc nonlinear FEA solver can now be cloud-deployed on the SimScale platform.
In an informal Q&A session hosted at the Hexagon booth, SimScale CEO David Heiny and Subham Sett, Vice President of R&D at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, discussed the partnership, highlighting how the collaboration will provide access to advanced nonlinear structural analysis for engineering teams worldwide. The integration combines Marc’s high-fidelity multiphysics capabilities with SimScale’s cloud-native simulation environment — enabling scalable access, AI-readiness, and simplified workflows for simulation-driven product development, the companies said.
“The partnership offers a fundamental shift in how nonlinear FEA is accessed and used,” Heiny said. “Bringing Marc to the cloud lowers the barrier to entry for advanced structural simulation, enabling faster iteration, broader team adoption, and a clear path to AI-enhanced, automated design space exploration”
The joint solution is currently in use via a limited early access program, with full general availability in July 2025. Users can sign up for early access and launch updates here.
