Solido Delivers 3D Modeling Desktop Printers

Marketed initially through OEM agreements, the SD300 Desktop 3D Printer from Solido Ltd. (Yehud Israel) is being launched on the global market — following plug and play desktop installation for concept modeling in several workplaces.

The SD300 introduces a new dimension in office modeling to designers and engineers with a small footprint and affordable price. It facilitates the design process by enabling convenient 3D modeling from the very first stages of the design process.

The SD300 uses layers of firm but flexible engineered plastics. The finished models resemble injected plastic parts and can be drilled, sanded, joined together,  and painted as needed.

The detail, compatibility, and accuracy of parts in the finished model have allowed designers of intricate machinery to create working parts straight from the 3D printer.

The SD300 services every aspect, from concept design to final product and is field proven in industrial design and engineering departments, creating models for marketing purposes, ergonomic evaluation of handheld tools, and automotive manufacturing. Other uses include fit and assembly applications or educational tools for university and technical colleges.
