SpaceClaim Offers PLM Integration via Partnership

September 24, 2007 -- SpaceClaim Corp. (Concord, MA) and xPLM Solution GmbH (Dresden, Germany) announced the availability of the SpaceClaim PLM Integration Module, a comprehensive integration platform providing a bidirectional link between leading PLM systems and SpaceClaim, a company that provides CAD-neutral modification solutions for the extended product development team.

xPLM Solution’s J2xPLM Integration Platform provides direct access to PLM systems from within SpaceClaim Professional 2007. SpaceClaim clients can manage SpaceClaim documents, references, and part configurations within their corporate PLM system and directly access managed CAD models, bills of materials, engineering change orders, and other enterprise PLM data providing an integrated and efficient design and manufacturing environment.

Benefits of the PLM Integration Module include integration with PLM objects and object structures, enables distributed and global design and collaboration of engineering teams across enterprises and supply chains, CAD-centric user dialogs deliver higher user acceptance, increased configurability delivers customer-specific integration without the high cost of customized development, can access multiple PLM and ERP sites in parallel, and one integration technology for multiple PLM / ERP applications.

The SpaceClaim PLM Integration Module is available from xPLM Solution in Q3 2007 as an annual lease, which offers software right-to-use, updates, upgrades, and support services throughout the length of the term. Pricing for PLM system integration is $500 per year for three-year term and $600 for one-year term for each SpaceClaim Professional 2007 license.

PLM system integrations include SpaceClaim PLM Integration Module for SAP PLM, Powered by SAP NetWeaver certified; Infor PLM, SSA Global, Infor LN. Additional PLM systems available on demand include: SpaceClaim PLM Integration Module for Agile 9; SpaceClaim PLM Integration Module for Agile e6; others on request.
