Spatial, which develops immersive design solutions, today announced the release of Analogue 2, a 3D collaborative design platform built natively for Apple Vision Pro.
Analogue 2 allows design teams to "see and feel a project evolve in real time," said Thomas Hale, Chief Product Officer, Spatial. "This immediate, shared context is a catalyst for creativity that fundamentally changes how quickly teams can innovate and make decisions."
Built natively for Apple Vision Pro, Analogue 2 includes:
Workspace: the central hub to manage your team, organize projects, and control your asset library.
Designer: the 3D environment with room tracking in visionOS, to place and edit 3D digital content.
The Designer UI lets you use natural hand gestures to move, scale, and rotate digital 3D assets; and use precision controls to place the asset in the exact spot, the company said.
Analogue 2 supports the OpenUSD standard, championed by NVIDIA as the format for its Omniverse platform. The OpenUSD Alliance's founding members include Pixar, Apple, NVIDIA, Adobe, Autodesk. Spatial is an early member of the Alliance.
According to the announcement, Spatial plans to expand the platform further later this year. The upcoming release, Analogue 3, will be optimized for visionOS 26, with native support for Logitech Mouse. The company also expects to release Analogue Portal, a companion app to access immersive content using other Apple products, such as the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Calin Pacurariu, CEO and co-founder, Spatial, noted, "By providing easy access to real, everyday utility, this launch demystifies spatial development for creative teams with tools that are as intuitive as they are powerful. This lays the foundation for a more open, immersive design ecosystem that extends far beyond any single platform."
Analogue 2 is now available on the App Store for Apple Vision Pro.
