Enginuity Development Inc. (Chicago IL) has announced TEAM—TotalEngineering Awareness Management—a toolset design to help organizationsmanage project communications and task tracking.TEAM is part of the EDM ECO (engineering change order) management andcommunications system, and it works with the company's Octane web-based requestrouting system.

JAVA web-enabled, TEAM enables you to create any number of teams withany number of members. Using its TSI (Task Status Index) feature, whichis said to be patent-pending, you can build a ranking index of projectsand tasks based on task status, priorities, and due dates. TSIcalculates a numerical value from this data for individual tasks, groups of tasks, departments, assignees, and your entire organization. The ranking is then displayed as a bar chart on your dashboard, enabling you to identify the condition of that task quickly.

TEAM's project team communication feature also resides on yourdashboard. This features shows the teams you are member of, enables youto view other team members and their roles within the team, and sende-mail to team members.

Future expansion modules include integrated requestmanagement, projects, meeting minutes, and FMEA (failure mode andeffects analysis). TEAM costs $1500, which includes unlimited usercount and no per seat license
