Tech Soft 3D (TS3D; Berkeley, CA) announced support for 3Dconnexion‘s (Freemont CA) 3Dmouse product line with HOOPS 16.1. Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) licensing HOOPS are now able to easily add support for3Dconnexion’s 3D mice in their applications, offering their customers greater 3D navigational features.
HOOPS has been deployed in more than 175 engineering applications. As programmers transition to HOOPS 16.1 and integrate support for 3D mice, more professionals will benefit from effortless movement and control within their 3D application workspaces.
By simply moving the controller cap featured on the 3D mice, designers can simultaneously pan, zoom, and rotate without stopping to select commands. A subtle increase or decrease in pressure accelerates or slows motion, enabling precise micro-adjustments.
3Dconnexion provides advanced and affordable 3D mice that are supported by more than 120 3D applications, including Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Maya, Cinema 4D, form*Z, SolidWorks, and top-tier 3D CAD applications.
