ThomasNet, a partner for industrial suppliers, has announced that it is adding a new functionality to its site. With the new "Buy it Now on Amazon" capability, the company furthers its position as a top platform for product sourcing and supplier discovery, a press release states.

With this capability, engineers can easily obtain the right OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and MRO products through the ThomasNet product sourcing application. The "Buy it Now on Amazon" function is already available for millions of items within the ThomasNet database, and this number will continue to grow, the company states.

“We’re all about making buyers' lives easier and enabling them to work more efficiently," said Mark Holst-Knudsen, president of ThomasNet. “Having immediate and free access to purchase products right away is a welcome addition – especially for those users who make “spot buys”.
