Conceptual Product Development, Inc. (West Caldwell, NJ) has released two new workbooks, the KEYCREATOR 6 Workbook and KEYCREATOR 6 Sizzling Solids, to aid users with the software. Walter Silva, President of CPD, Inc., authors the series of Doctor Walt's books on CAD, rapid prototyping, and desktop publishing.

The KEYCREATOR 6 Workbook encompasses both KEYCREATOR 5 and the enhancements present in KEYCREATOR 6, providing hundreds of tips on use of the software. Starting with a treatment of two-dimensional construction, the exercises then proceed through solid modeling, assembly techniques, and creation of associated drawings.

CPD, Inc. also just recently released Doctor Walt's KEYCREATOR 6 Sizzling Solids, focusing on freeform solid modeling. This book offers step-by-step instructions on how to create a wide variety of castings, molded parts, formed metal objects, manifold objects, etc.
