A partnership between 3D Systems of Rock Hill, SC and Clarkson College will establish the 3D Printing and Training Center of Excellence. This facility, on the Clarkson College campus in Omaha, NE, is intended to advance healthcare education and patient care for the region, the organizations report.

Clarkson College, recognized for its healthcare education, and 3D Systems, renowned for its role in the 3D printing industry, bring decades of expertise to the partnership.This synergy will increase accessibility of 3D printing and visualization to healthcare facilities in the region through education, consulting, customized patient care and research.

Bringing technology closer to point of care and implementation of 3D Systems' solutions offer benefits for Omaha and the surrounding area, including enhanced clinical engagement, potential for enhanced patient outcomes and advanced healthcare practices.

This partnership enables Clarkson College to offer FDA-cleared 3D printed, patient-specific devices on site and to clinicians and healthcare facilities regionally. Devices offered are diagnostic anatomic models, surgical guides for orthopedic oncology procedures and radiotherapy accessories.
