Altair to Hold Event Series for Virtual Design and Engineering

The webinars will be hosted in the U.K., U.S., Germany, France and Japan throughout 2015.

Altair is planning on hosting a global event series on cloud computing topics. The series, titled ATCx Cloud: Infinite Design Exploration, will begin in the U.K. in December and will expand worldwide in 2015.

The series will present customers illustrating how they use Altair cloud-based CAE processes and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. Presenters include Vertu, Stanley Black & Decker, The University of Edinburgh and Zodiac Aerospace. The event series will address the interests and needs of design engineers, CAE specialists as well as senior executives responsible for product development, the company states.

The company is also introducing HyperWorks Unlimited - Virtual for Amazon Web Services, offering unlimited access to HyperWorks and PBS Works on the cloud.

“For organizations looking to equip their CAE teams with infinite exploration possibilities, this is a must-attend event series,” said Ravi Kunju, vice president of Strategy and Business Development at Altair. “Altair is the only company that builds both state-of-the-art CAE application software and HPC middleware to deliver an unparalleled user experience and business model. We are offering every attending organization the opportunity to experience the Altair cloud during the event with free cloud cycles.”

The first event will be held on December 9th in Gaydon, U.K.
