Anark Corporation (Boulder, CO) released Anark Gameface 4.0, with improved productivity and performance for artists and programmers engaged in game UI development.

But game development is not the only market benefiting from this 3D technology. Anark’s customers include Boeing, Cessna, Pratt & Whitney, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Sony. The mission-critical 3D data assets of these companies gain improved collaboration, product visualization, marketing communication, and an improved graphical user interface (GUI).

Component-based workflow allows large teams of UI designers to work in parallel on any part of the UI project. This release features “out of the box” integration with Emergent’s Gamebryo engine; up to 5x improvement in runtime speed and 10x improvement in memory management for consistent sub-millisecond scene refresh rates; optimized COLLADA graphics pipeline enables users to seamlessly import 3D models, materials, textures, and animations from 3ds Max and Maya.
