The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME,  New York) is offering professional technical short courses around the U.S. on a variety of mechanical engineering topics.

In New Orleans, LA, from February 9 to13, mechanical engineering topics include fastening systems to piping design, boiler and pressure vessel courses. In Houston, TX, from March 2 to 6, courses on mechanical engineering topics include engineering management and pump and valve selection.

In Las Vegas, NV, mechanical engineering topics range from power piping design and fabrication to negotiating techniques for engineers. Courses run from March 16 to April 10.

And in Orlando, FL, mechanical engineering courses running from May 5 to 9, include heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning system as well as elevator maintenance evaluation. For details, contact ASME.
