Autodesk has announced a native CAM app for Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk Inventor HSM Express is available for free.

HSMCAM

The solution has been in beta since this past summer. The solution stems from the company's acquisition of HSMWorks in 2012.

"We are excited to be able to provide users of Inventor with the same level of integration, performance, and quality currently enjoyed by users of our HSMWorks and HSMXpress CAM solutions," said Carl White, Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Autodesk.

Running the software requires a valid Inventor 2014 license.
